Meet Dr. J!

Dr. Catherine Jackson (Dr. J!) is known as America’s #1 Brain Psychologist. She has been a featured expert in Forbes, Oprah Magazine, The Huffington Post, Prevention Magazine, The Washington Post,  CNN and many other media sources. She is a speaker and an experienced clinical psychologist, neurotherapist and coach who inspires others to live their best lives. She is the owner of Optimal Neuroholistic Services, LLC and the founder of the Dr. J's Holistic Health & Wellness non-profit. With over 10 years of clinical experience, Dr. Jackson has become a sought after expert in mental health, neurotherapy, relationships (including marriage, parenting and families) and holistic health and wellness.



She specializes in improving wellbeing by increasing brain functioning and subsequently overall wellness. Dr. Jackson is able to improve people’s ability to think and concentrate, make healthy decisions, regulate their emotions and behaviors and help them relate better to others. The goal of the therapeutic and coaching work is to help others achieve and maintain their optimal functioning in all aspects of their lives. Dr. Jackson has extensive education and training including, a Bachelor’s degree in Developmental Psychology, a Master of Science degree in Human Services/Counseling, a post-masters certificate in School Counseling and a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. A lifelong learner with a particular passion for brain, holistic health and the mind-body connection, she earned a Board Certification in Neurotherapy. Dr. J is also a Board Certified Coach, is a Certified Nutrition & Integrative Medicine Provider, a Brainspotting Therapist and is Board Certified in Telemental Health (i.e., online therapy).
